a più ragionevoli latitudini

osservo con un certo sospetto

questa linea luminosa che si espande all’orizzonte,

strappo lento nella continuità della notte.

Even now

at more reasonable latitudes

I observe with a certain suspicion

this luminous line expanding on the horizon,

slow tear in the continuity of the night.

Eugenio Pini is a photographer, video designer, and director. He has extensive experience in the fields of theater, dance, and opera lirica, having worked in various theaters worldwide and collaborated with directors such as Graham Vick, Davide Livermore, and Dario Argento.

He complements these activities with the creation of personal photographic projects, particularly using large-format films and directly handling the printing process also using alternative contact techniques such as cyanotype and kallitype.
